We aim to provide flexible, friendly and professional childcare so please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions or to arrange to visit us. The information below is there as a guide and individual needs may be able to be accommodated for so please just ask.
Opening Hours, Days and Fees
Hourly fees are £6.25 per hour. Children arrive from 8am, although we do offer some 'school hours' places from 9-3pm too. All children wearing nappies must provide these from home and if drinking formula milk please send this in their day bag with a change of clothing. We are open Mon-Thurs and childcare hours are from 8am - 5pm. We operate on a 'term time only' basis and children pay a retainer of 20% during the school holidays.
Meals and Snacks
Meals are all included in the hourly fee and a hot home cooked meal will be served at 4:30pm which is also included. Breakfast is provided if required and snacks will include fruit, bread sticks, rice cakes, toast, cucumber, raisins, apricots, tea cakes, crumpets and croissants. The hot meal at lunchtime is home made and includes many family favourites including beef casserole, spaghetti bolognese, jacket potatoes, chicken hot pot, pasta and various sauces etc. If the children have been baking then they will be able to have this at snack time or take it home to share! Tea at 4:30pm is usually a lighter meal including scrambled eggs on toast, sandwiches, yoghurts and fresh fruit, wraps, homemade soups and rolls. Children bring a weekly contribution to our healthy 'snack box' which provides discussion about favourite foods and the importance of sharing.
Ages and Availability
Sandbeck Farm Childcare provides childcare for 9 children under 5 each day. We take children from 6 months (or younger) and I am able to access the funding for children that are entitled to the 15 hours of government funded childcare the term after children turn 9 months (increasing to 30h/week from Sept 2025). We also accept 'Tax Free Childcare' payments, saving parents 20% on fees. See the Childcare Choices website for more information.

Naps
We have two purpose built sleep rooms within the annex to provide a quiet room for children to have their all important day time naps. These have proved to be invaluable in allowing the children to get the rest they need during a busy day. Each child will have their own sleep preferences and these will be discussed with you individually.
